    • SCHOOLNOTES.com - Send in what you would like to work on with regards to the City Project, who you would like to work with, and some ideas for your city!. 

TUESDAY- Nov. 18

  • Work on forming teams. 
  • Review expectations for the group - learn how to find the rubrics
  • Start the planning part of the projects - what you want to include, how you will divide the work, etc. 
  • Review some student videos.

WEDNESDAY - Nov 19

  • Watch video on a futuristic plan for a futuristic tower design for a busy downtown section. 
  • HOMEWORK:
  • Go to the LOAD LAB and the SkyScraper Challenge - be sure to record your information for homework.

    • Work on the LETTER A CHALLENGE. If finished, work on the second challenge as well. No GOOGLING! Use your noggin!.

MONDAY - Nov 3

  • Practice with PICTURES, EFFECTS and TRANSITIONS. 
  • TAPING. Work on editing of the movies
  • For those working at home, alternative assignments given to work on in class to show editing and movie skills.

  • YOU MUST complete, on a separate piece of paper the following:
    • TITLE OF WORK
    • Artist Statement - what you did, how you did it, where you got your ideas from, etc.

TUESDAY- Nov. 4 - Election Day

  • Work on Videos. Get envelopes signed. ALL VIDEOS DUE TOMORROW!

WEDNESDAY - Nov. 5

  • Finish Videos. Save to the server. 
  • Export your video to quick time. 
  • Find the Quick Time File -- do not open it. 
  • Click on CONNECT TO SERVER
  • Click on MY NETWORK. Look for CPLBYBK38. Click on it. 
  • Click on guest 
  • click esmsserver
  • click on OK
  • Double click on the little icon that shows up. 
  • Drag the icon of your movie to the DROP BOX. Click on OK
  • You can only drag it once. 
  • When done, drag the SERVER icon towards the trash, it will change to a disconnect sign.

  • Show the sequence side-by-side for the storyboarding exercise.
  • Introduction to IMOVIE - titles
  • HOMEWORK _ Images for the project due by next Thursday on disk, pen drive or sent to esms@elsegundousd.com (via your google account).

WEDNESDAY -Oct. 15

  • Your own storyboards started and explained.  
  • Plan your movies (formal scripts/storyboards due next Friday.)
  • Work with IMPORTING IMAGES - Imovie. 

Thursday - Oct.16

  • Your own storyboards workshop time. We will peer edit/review them tomorrow.

Your storyboards discussed and pitched. Scripts/descriptions due on Moodle by end of the class today in a forum. !

  • POEM REQUIREMENTS:
    • 10 lines starting with MY YOUniqueness
    • 3 pieces of found clip art/art
    • 1 item drawn by hand
    • 1 use of word art
    • all on one page
    • TITLE = My YOUniqueness
    • Your name on the poem
    • Must fill the page
    • NO background or text colors -- only color allowed in the found clip art. 
  • HOMEWORK: Authenticate your google account. Create a document and share with me - email address given in class. If not working last week, try again with ESMS added to your powerSchool password.If your password is in all caps, then it should be that way for googlepages. For all others, the whole password (along with the ESMS) must be caps.
